We've had quite the month here at Animal Wellness Center and Animal Hospital of Lynnwood! We have two pets' stories we'd like to share.
The first is simple--Jack the boxer has degenerative myelopathy. This is a progressive disease of the spinal cord. Over time, the dog begins to wobble and have lack of coordination. Jack is getting hydrotherapy to strengthen his muscles!
The second story we'd like to share is about a little red kitten. His mother had several kittens, and this little one quite smaller than the others. He kept getting stepped on by his siblings, and was never able to latch and feed. We took the little kitten and fed him for several days so he could get his strength and stamina to feed for himself. After he went home with his mother and siblings, his owner reported that the little kitty was feeding for himself with his mother! She sent us some pictures of this lovely family.
